Over the past decades, escort cards have evolved a lot! Until recently, escort cards were simple and functional, made to indicate the guests’ table numbers. Recently, however, escort card have become a major element in a wedding’s overall design. Today, many couples view the escort card as an avenue for creativity, and as a sneak peek into the evening ahead!
While printed cards are still used, it is now common to pair the cards with an item that matches the wedding theme. For example, escort cards can be affixed to a starfish or citrus fruit, to tie in with the wedding décor. Cards can also be attached to wedding favors, including jars of honey, bottles of soda, and even succulent plants! That way, guests can easily find their seat, and also take home a fun treat!
