Alexandra and Clay met on the beach, so they wanted to incorporate a little of the Pacific Ocean into their engagement photos. Clay is also a Marine Corps pilot, so the military is an incredibly important part of their lives. Together, we managed to combine these two aspects, and the result was a unique and meaningful engagement shoot.
The shoot took place in Point Loma, which seemed like the perfect intersection of beach and military. To start, we captured photos at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery for a quiet moment of tribute, where Clay dressed in uniform. We were all aware and respectful of the surroundings, and it was a fitting moment of appreciation for those who have served our country.
Later, we captured Alexandra and Clay’s playful personalities at Sunset Cliffs. The natural beach environment made for a perfect backdrop! We are honored to photograph this sweet couple, and we are truly thankful for their dedication to protecting our country. We look forward to being a part of their wedding at the Prado in Balboa Park this summer.
