The Del Mar Beach is among the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in the San Diego area. There are over two miles of coastline, with a couple of beautiful parks (Powerhouse and Seagrove) close by. One of our favorite spots is by the train tracks, where a speeding train makes an excellent photo backdrop. Between the surf and some of San Diego’s finest restaurants nearby, you can make a day of it!

Because this beach is so popular with locals and tourists, the entire area can get crowded at times. So for a more secluded and romantic engagement photo session, we typically suggest scheduling your shoot during the week, outside of the summer months.
