Lacy and Phil are planning a very intimate wedding in front of the Hotel Del in Coronado, on the sand. In anticipation of their fall wedding, they opted for a beach engagement session at Sunset Cliffs, near Point Loma. We love Sunset Cliffs because of the variety of environments nearby. From lush woody pathways, to patches of desert succulents, to golden fields and rugged coastal cliffs — you can find it all!
During the shoot, we stumbled across a colorfully tagged wall. There was an old bottle of spray paint nearby, which we couldn’t resist using as an impromptu prop. Found objects like these are always fun to work with!
Also, the soon-to-be-weds had a chance to show off their muscles. First, Phil attempted to climb the cliff in his sandals, while hanging onto a rope. So Lacy upped the ante and pulled off the acrobatic “flag” move against a gnarled tree. Pretty impressive!
