Our “Guess the Dress” challenge continues with this week’s beautiful wedding gown from The White Flower Bridal Boutique. Located in Bankers Hill /Uptown San Diego, this cute boutique has been attracting fashion-minded brides since 2009!
In this photo, our lovely bride Courtney is showcasing a stunning fit and flare gown made of beautiful tiered French Alençon lace and English net tulle. Featured at the natural waist is a Swarovski beaded sash, which is embellished with a delicate floral motif. It is a stunner for sure. Let’s see if you can identify the designer :)

Who is the designer of the wedding dress shown here?
Answer: The White Flower Bridal Boutique still offers this spectacular Eve of Milady wedding dress by special order :)
According to Kathy Hughes at The White Flower, this year has felt like a transitional year in wedding gown design. In the past, singular trends were very clear (ex: lace, bohemian, etc). But in 2015, anything different is in. “Brides seem to be comfortable branching out from the traditional, and are embracing styles such as intricate beading, a dramatic low back, or a stunningly sleek silhouette,” says Kathy. “Brides want to wear something that they haven’t seen before, and they are willing to step outside of the box a bit to achieve that.”
When shopping for a dress, Kathy advises to trust yourself and your own instincts. “Don’t let a consultant or a store persuade you into a dress that you don’t love,” she says. “It really should be so much fun! You will try on many gorgeous dresses, but one will simply feel far more special than the others.”
The White Flower is located at the Park Laurel building across from San Diego’s world famous Balboa Park. The chic urban setting and proximity to the Gaslamp Quarter makes this boutique a favorite destination of many brides to be.
“Our consultants absolutely love their jobs and truly are the most genuine and lovely women. On top of all that, we have some gorgeous gowns too!”
