Recently, we planned the beautiful Orfila Winery wedding of Christine and Stephen. We started working with this great couple about a year before their wedding. The initial vision was a traditional Catholic ceremony, paired with a fun, bright vineyard reception.

For the wedding, Christine chose a gorgeous cap sleeve lace dress, paired with crystal embellished shoes by Badgley Mischka. She looked beautiful walking down the aisle of The Immaculata.

Following the ceremony, the wedding couple and their guests made their way to Orfila Vineyards and Winery, an award-winning boutique winery near the Wild Animal Park in Escondido.

At the reception site, we transformed a blank white tent into a vivid, elegant space. Throughout the tent were golds and yellows, slate gray, and ivory accents. The colors were a perfect balance of contrast for this couple’s cool, modern reception.

Details inside the tent included fresh yellow and white florals by Flora Glamor, mercury candy holders, and Chinese lanterns. The décor complemented the glowing amber market lights draped across the ceiling, and set a romantic and intimate mood for the evening.

The gorgeous buttercream cake, created by Edelweiss Bakery, featured a contemporary pattern to match the ambiance of the reception. The cake was placed in front of the picturesque vineyards, nestled in the San Pasqual Valley, and it became a focal point of the evening.

The reception was set up for friends and family to relax, chat, and enjoy local wine and beer. The entire wedding matched Christine and Stephen’s design style, and the evening was a beautiful reflection of a them as a couple!
