We love this simply sweet North County San Diego wedding, planned by Cardiff couple Lucy and Kirk. By incorporating many North County features such as surfing, The Brigantine and a laid back atmosphere, this couple made their special day a reflection of themselves and the area they love so much.
Lucy and Kirk decided to have their first look at the alter of St. John’s church in Encinitas, beginning with a pre-ceremony prayer behind a door. We love this idea of meeting unseen to share this intimate moment, reminding them that true love is blind.
After Lucy & Kirk tied the knot, and joy filled the air, the couple snuck away to grab their first photos together as Mr & Mrs! Meanwhile, guests were escorted to local favorite Brigantine for a lovely, outdoor reception overlooking the Del Mar racetrack. Everyone enjoyed good music, great company, and delicious sweets (Lucy works at Sweet Cheeks Baking) until the wee hours of the night! :)
