About Kara Mullane

Kara Mullane, a Chicago native, has centered her life around photography ever since high school. She attended the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, where she thrived in both the creative and technical aspects of photography. Kara’s specialty for True is photographing weddings in and around Denver, Colorado, where she currently resides.

Kara says: “I appreciate that you’ve spent a lot of time preparing for this one day, and I want to make sure everything is included. In addition to the must-have shots, I love to incorporate the different environments of the locations, including mountains, snow, beautiful churches, and classic hotel rooms to really preserve the atmosphere of the day.”

Recently, Kara’s name and photo credit appeared in the bestseller The Descendants by Kaui Hemming, which was adapted into an Academy Award-nominated film starring George Clooney.
