In 2002, katherine farley's love of art and nature compelled her to leave her desk job for the wide world of flowers. Her infatuation with the details of the organic world and her desire to combine them with her zeal for color, shape and texture immediately found her a home among the blooms.
With the guidance of a select group of amazing and talented designers and her dedication to developing her design skills, she evolved from cleaning flower stems at a new leaf in chicago to the position of head designer at the eminent event design company, renny and reed in new york city.
Through her diverse experiences and constant attention to new and interesting elements she has developed a distinct style of her own that brings a fresh look to design while still letting flowers be flowers.
