Savi Events Founder Saverio ‘Sam’ Ferraro is a 3rd generation wedding professional and is thrilled to continue the family tradition with the launch of Savi Events. In 1937 his grand parents Sam and Victoria Ferraro created a catering company, Victoria Banquets. Over the years Victoria's grew exponentially to become a full service event company. Beginning at ten years old he did every job possible ranging from a door opener/greeter, busboy, waiter, prep cook, salad and dessert chef, bartender, hot side kitchen chef, banquet captain and banquet general manager. Growing up in the family business Sam quickly made his mark in the event industry through flawless execution and truly individualized events. Throughout the years Sam has planned over 1,000 weddings and has extensive experience in event sales and planning. After 15 years of hands on event experience and over 75 years of passed down event knowledge, Sam recognized a need for a truly experienced, luxury wedding planner.
"I love what I do. I literally grew up crawling around in banquet halls. With Victoria's I was planning an average of 130 weddings per year. I chose to split off and create Savi Events to focus my energy on a very limited amount of luxury weddings per year,” says Sam.
With a smile Sam explains, “Weddings are intimate and distinctive moments in life…therefore I get to know my clients personally. I will never do "cookie cutter events" your wedding will be as unique as you are."
