Danielle Mendez, March 31, 1976, was born and raised in Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. She attended Corpus Christi school where she is still a Parishioner, Marymount High School, UCLA and Le Cordon Bleu. She has opened multiple fine dining restaurants and hotels as a GM, Event and Catering Director, and Business Development Director. Danielle, has lived in Seattle, San Francisco, Spain, San Diego, and continues to love traveling to amazing destinations throughout the world so she may expand both her cultural and culinary knowledge. In her spare time she plays tennis, yoga, pilates, skiis, sails, sings, works on her farm, watches sports, and attends music events. Danielle also sits on various non profit boards as a Director of Development and Fundraising and is always looking for another worthy cause to support.
Danielle’s love for the food and wine industry stemmed from her creative side and her love to make new things. After graduating from UCLA she immediately went into restaurant management loving both the floor and the kitchen aspects. In spending time and building relationships with her guests she moved on to work for many of them as they built their own restaurants. In 2008, Danielle with the push of her family, decided to attend Le Cordon Bleu for a Culinary Arts degree. Having fallen in love with the kitchen she now works both sides of the industry as an event producer and as a chef.
