About Third Coast Jazz

The Third Coast Jazz Band was formed in April of 2003 and has been providing entertainment for weddings and private events ever since. The original members of the group all hailed from Michigan, known by natives as the ”Third Coast”. We have performed for multiple celebrity events, including the Academy Awards/Oscar's Pre-show Party (3 years) and the weddings of Leann Rimes and Chad Lowe.

Though our name indicates our passion for all styles of Jazz, we are able to offer so much more! We can easily change directions to cover dance and popular material so that our clients only require one group for all phases of their events (e.g. from ceremony music through the reception for wedding events).

We regularly provide groups of different sizes for events of all types throughout Southern California. Whether we provide background music or a focal point performance for your event, we will work hard to set the perfect mood and will make sure you are completely satisfied!

We use some of the most talented professionals in the San Diego area to bring you the highest level of service possible. We play for a wide variety of events and regularly tailor our group to fit the needs of the event/venue for which we are playing.
