Whether shooting a happy couple on their wedding day, professional head shot, photo booth, under water portrait, or a professional model, I approach every job the same way. I like shooting beautiful pictures, working with fun people, and creatively telling a story with my cameras.
I think photos of loved ones are priceless…
I consider myself an artist, but what makes my work special is the people in it. I’m just there to bring it out and capture it with my camera….
Photographing the most important days + most important people in my clients lives is something I consider super important, and a true honor…
My approach combines the style of fashion photography, with the storytelling aspects of photojournalism. Along with the standard I have two main goals at every shoot: I want to create beautiful portraits that showcase your style and personality, and I want to capture candid pictures that tell the story of the event.
My experience has taught me to make all photo shoots run quickly and smoothly, and that they should be fun for all involved! I want to you remember how much fun the photo shoot was, and it should never feel like a chore. Do you bring a backup camera? Of course! Every important piece of gear has a backup–and the backups have backups. I bring gear that will allow me to shoot in any weather or lighting environment! We even shoot our main camera with 2 cards so nothing will ever be lost or go missing. What Camera’s do you use? Right now, I’m shooting with Canon 5d III’ 6d, and top of the line L series prime lenses (good glass = great photos). I also love the 70-200 2.8 L, and that occasionally makes an appearance when I need the extra reach.
