Romantic Wedding Candles

When candles are incorporated into the wedding day, it can really set the mood! The soft flickering light of a candle adds visual interest, and enhances any room. Suddenly, a ceremony aisle feels more dramatic, a table centerpiece more regal, and a reception more romantic :)

Celebrate Good Times with Sparklers

Sparklers are a lot of fun at weddings, and make for some “brilliant” photographs. One trend we’ve seen in recent years is the sparkler send-off, where guests hold sparklers and make a pathway for the departing wedding couple. This is a great way to cap the night, and a nice farewell for all the guests.

Whenever sparklers are on hand, we like to photograph them in interesting ways, and capture guests lighting up the night. Join in on the celebration and enjoy these awesome sparkler shots!

An Intimate Candlelit Wedding Coordinated by Sweet Blossom Weddings

Megan and Matt were married at the U.S. Grant, a stunning venue in the heart of San Diego’s Gaslamp District. Three months before her wedding to Matt, Megan met with Melissa, owner of Sweet Blossom Weddings. There was an instant connection, and Megan asked Melissa and Sweet Blossom Weddings to help with the day-of coordination of her wedding.

Megan began her day getting pampered by her bridesmaids. Meanwhile, Matt got himself looking dapper, and spent quality time hanging out with his guys.

Melissa made sure to include plenty of time for pictures around town, and in the hotel, including a “First Look.” We just love the smile on Matt’s face when he sees his bride for the first time.

Megan and Matt are a fun-loving couple, and they were up for absolutely anything, even playing in traffic!

Megan had over 50 candles placed throughout the Chairman’s Room at the U.S. Grant, where she and Matt exchanged their vows.  Very romantic!

Megan and Matt’s reception was held in the Crystal Ballroom, which glowed with chandeliers, candlelight, and an elegant fireplace. The vibe of the room was intimate and cozy, which is exactly what Megan had initially envisioned.

We thought this custom cake topper was especially cute, and really helped to showcase Megan and Matt’s personalities.

Because Sweet Blossom Weddings was there to take care of all of the details, our happy couple were able to completely relax, and dance the night away!  Thanks Melissa for such a job well done.  We can’t wait to work with you again in the near future!
