Featured Engagement Shoot: Mission Beach with Eileen & Andrew

By, January 09, 2013

After spending just a few minutes with Eileen and Andrew, it’s obvious that they aren’t afraid to let loose and get a little goofy. So we wanted to do something a little funky and a lot of fun for their engagement session. We decided to head down to Mission Beach, where we walked the crowded boardwalk, played around on the sand, and cruised through San Diego’s iconic Belmont Park.

The key for an engagement shoot is not to match, or else it can get a little cheesy. We loved Eileen’s firetruck-red pants, bright yellow blazer and her multi-colroed heels, so posing in front of a tiled beach mural seemed fitting. Eileen and Andrew have a cool confidence about them, and a ton of style!

Later, Eileen rocked a pair of tribal inspired, bold patterned leggings, which made for cool sand-jumping photos. With a touch of swag, this shoot became an eclectic, unconventional day at the beach. We can’t wait to see them at their wedding this coming July!
