We Need Your Help Now, or the Beard Comes Off – Stakes are Raised!

By, November 29, 2012

Aaron Feldman grows beard for charity - small versionThanks to your generous donations, my beard is starting to be gloriously full, as you can see. I sincerely thank those of you who have given already – your generosity has helped medical students in desperate need of financial assistance. But as of right now, only two remaining days are covered, otherwise this beard goes down the drain!

It’s time to step it up! I’m about to raise the stakes so you’ll give again. And for those who have not yet participated, you’ll want to jump in now.

Here’s why – for the next week, for each $25 donated, you’ll receive one entry into our drawing. If your name is chosen, then when I finally shave this beard off, I’ll shave it all off except for your initials! That’s right – I’ll wear your initials with pride on my face for at least 24 hours, and we’ll post the proof on our blog! It’s just another reason to do something amazing – please click here for the full story.

So, who’s ready to give $25, $100, $250… Let’s keep this beard going all winter long!

Update: The beard has been shaved! Close to $1,500 was raised, which will to go towards need-based medical scholarships. We sincerely appreciate all your help and support throughout this campaign!

My Beard Needs Your Help!

By, November 15, 2012

Aaron Feldman grows beard for charity - small version
It’s been four weeks since I started growing this beard to raise funds for UCSD medical scholarships on behalf of Tyler Pardee (you can read the full story here). For every $25 that is donated to this cause, my ugly beard stays another day. It’s getting to the scratchy phase – let’s work together and see how ugly this beard can get!

Whether you donate or not, I ask that you please share the link below, and help spread the word. As of this writing, we’ve raised $377, which is a great start, and I thank you sincerely to all who have taken part. But right now, there are only enough donations to keep this beard going until Saturday! Please step in and give what you can. Who will be the next to ensure this beard stays on my face??

Update: The beard has been shaved! Close to $1,500 was raised, which will to go towards need-based medical scholarships. We sincerely appreciate all your help and support throughout this campaign!
