Our company is made up of a team of four coordinators, each priced by experience level. Because of this, we are generally able to accommodate any date and budget! We offer three types of “Full Service” packages, which are designed to fit a wide range of coordination needs. In addition, we offer hourly consultation, “Day Of” and “Month Of” services.
Recently, I personally had the pleasure of working with Adrienne and Ben, who are such a cute couple! They chose our “I Can Do Some of the Planning” Package, which was just right for them. They expressed that they wanted a fun, outdoor wedding, with a little bit of a whimsical, retro style.

Adrienne and Ben were excited about doing something a little different. They wanted an outdoor, garden style wedding, with lawn games and gourmet food truck catering. I encouraged them to consider Heritage Park, just above Old Town.

It can be challenging to find an open green, grassy venue in the heart of San Diego that allows food and alcohol, so Heritage Park was perfect. There are some logistical considerations, like bringing in all the rentals, and providing your own caterer. Adrienne and Ben could relax, though – as the event planner, we took care of all the details!
The cost to rent the space for the day is only $1,000. What a steal!

Before the wedding, I had encouraged Adrienne and Ben to take bridal party photos at Balboa Park. The photos are gorgeous. Thanks True!

Adrienne wanted a natural palatte with some brights thrown in. She asked all her bridesmaids to choose their own dress in a similar hue. They looked amazing together – coordinated enough to work well in a photo, and different enough to add a variety of tone and texture. For flowers, Adrienne chose bright oranges, yellows, and red wildflowers to add a bit of pop. And for the guys, Adrienne chose suspenders and a variety of colorful ties.

The tent was my favorite part of the reception. Adrienne wanted a simple white linen and a khaki napkin, which we got from La Tavola, and dark wood chairs in banquet-style seating. Blush Botanicals provided the centerpieces and burlap runners!

We did a simple place setting, perfect for the outdoor environment, and placed retro lollipops in various bright colors inside all the napkins. The look was so cute!

Adrienne and Ben hired the food truck Curiocity, and guests dined on sliders with parmesan fries, crab risotto, grilled cheese, and summer salad. Yum!

CAKE provided a variety of small cakes and pastries, which we set up on a dessert display just outside the tent. That way, guests could see the treats awaiting them!

Part of my job is setting up an amazing event – the other part is finding great vendors (like DJ J of J Soul Productions) that help make the party really fun. I think my favorite moment was watching the guests surround Adrienne and Ben for the Hora. This wedding was beautiful, a little quirky, and a ton of fun!
