Sunflowers, champagne and a sunset make a romantic engagement shoot

We had an awesome time photographing Jhovanna and Jak around the beach in Del Mar. This Laguna Beach couple fit in beautifully with nature’s cool colors along the cliff overlooking the ocean. The progression of the engagement shoot was almost like a great date: a nature walk with sunflowers, a bottle of champagne in the park, a gorgeous sunset, and a night on the town on 15th Street in Del Mar!

We are looking forward to photographing these two USD alums as they tie the knot at the University of San Diego Founder’s Chapel, and celebrate at the Estancia Resort and Spa in La Jolla this fall. Go Toreros!

Our founder and our creative designer step in front of the camera for their Old Town engagement shoot!

There was never a question of who would photograph Aaron and April’s engagement session. Of course, it had to be True Photography! One of True’s talented photographers, Michael, was ready to take the lead on the shoot, and the happy couple was able to relax and enjoy their roles as future bride and groom.

For the “Future Feldmans” engagement shoot, we headed south to Old Town San Diego to take advantage of the colorful landscapes, old Victorian homes and unique shops. The balance of casual, sweet, and playful photos, along with True Photography’s signature popping colors, allowed the couple’s artistic and charismatic personalities to be captured just perfectly. This photo shoot was definitely a “True” representation of Aaron and April. Check it out!

A dash of retro and a whole lotta energy

Our photographers love to be creative, and work with each couple to portray their own unique personalities. With Amanda and Trevor, we could tell that they were super energetic! We loved the idea of doing something retro with a vintage flair for their engagement shoot. When we took them out to a grassy field for the shoot, they laughed hysterically the entire time. You can tell by looking at the photos below that Amanda and Trevor are full of life, and aren’t afraid to get a little silly in front of the camera!

We can only imagine how much fun it will be to shoot their big day in September :)
