As much as we love the beautiful scenery in our city, we also enjoy venturing out of San Diego for engagement sessions. We recently headed up to The Paramount Ranch, in the hills north of Los Angeles, to photograph Rachel and Theo. Rachel is finishing up her residency in Family Medicine, and Theo has his PHD. This couple is cool and easygoing, and you can tell that they are meant to be!
Paramount Ranch, where the shoot took place, is a fun location where western movies and commercials were filmed by Hollywood’s finest. These days, it’s an awesome outdoor spot open to the public. We photographed this couple as they strolled through the open ranges of the wild west, exchanged a few kisses by the old saloon, and popped their heads through the windows of an abandoned building. The only thing missing was the old western standoff music, and the tumbleweeds rolling in at high noon!
