When Kris was a child he was surrounded by music and parties all the time. Kris’ parents converted a large size patio in the back of the house to a retro 70’s Disco Tec. Floral Linoleum tiles, Plush Leather wet bar, Cherry Wood DJ Booth, Retro 70’s roll down shades, wood siding panels, entertainers back yard and the coolest of all, a Lighting & Audio systems that would put the disco clubs out of business. His Parents were big partiers in the 70’s and 80’s. Anytime friends and family wanted to throw a party they came to his house. When he turned 16, Kris DJ his own Super 16th Birthday party which launched his career.
Growing up and attending Hillcrest Christian School from 1st grade to 9th grade, Kris got his start from school drama plays, small musical productions, and got a chance to work on the church P.A. system. He was very involved in student council and student government at his school. In 9th grade Kris was Vice President of his class where he put together production shows and different outings. In 10th grade Kris attended Granada Hills High School, he worked with multiple staff members to provide special effects for several important occasions such as Pep Rallies, Homecoming, Winter Formals, Proms, House Parties, etc. Throughout school and attending both College of the Canyons and California State University of Northridge, where he enrolled in such classes as Business Management, Marketing, Business Law, Radio Television and Film, Audio Production, and Advanced Audio, Kris launched his own entertainment business, DJFX Ent. A company he is very dedicated to and passionate about. He works one on one with his clients to bring comfort and peace of mind about success for any event and takes pride on each one he works on. In 2003, Kris graduated with an Associate in Arts Degree in Business Management.
