During the 10 years Allison McDonald has been involved in the special events and concierge industries she has had the opportunity to work with professionals in three major metropolitan areas. Through the course of this career she has developed positive working relationships with numerous corporate, non-profit, and individual clients while consistently delivering events and services noted for their professional panache.
After graduating in 2005 with a degree in Public Relations from Webster University, Allison moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development in the areas of communication, protocol, and organization of State events. While there she was privileged to work closely on an annual cultural outreach event bringing U.S. diplomats and other community leaders together for a time of dialogue and celebration.
Since returning to St. Louis, Allison has done freelance event consulting for a variety of local clients. She has been involved in the planning and creation of numerous events from the initial brainstorm stage to the successful execution of final event-day details. Allison expanded this business in 2010 to include concierge services - a concept fairly new to the St. Louis area but one that is a perfect complement to the unfailing commitment to service developed over years of event planning.
Allison's favorite aspect of her work is using organizational skills and creativity to meet and exceed expectations. Whether the task at hand is planning a gala occasion or addressing graduation announcements she looks forward to putting her distinctive blend of experience, resourcefulness, and creative vision to work for clients in fresh and exciting ways.
