The Talent
Greg & Adeline DeMichiel are the noted Culinary Chefs that founded Maison Catering Services in Los Angeles, California. With almost 3 decades of combined experience, the couple's passion and determination for mastering 5-star dishes have brought them center stage in the art of food creations. The dynamic couple previously resided in Millbrook, New York, a common weekend home destination to several prominent Hollywood film and television personalities. Those whom they served held them in high regard for their unparalleled talent in cooking. "There is absolutely nothing these two cannot accomplish in the kitchen. Their work is far above the mark of excellence and they will be greatly missed in New York," says a former Client of theirs from Millbrook (identity withheld to respect privacy). "We are utterly disappointed to see you leave and your talents will be greatly missed. Your food was the best we'd ever had the honor of experiencing out of all of our past events. We wish you the best in Los Angeles and hope you'll visit us the next time you're in New York," writes another.
The Food
Greg and Adeline hold firm to the standards that place them above their competition in the industry. The food must be 100% fresh, prepared on location with local and organic, sustainable ingredients, cooked to appetizing perfection, and served with pride. The love and soul between the two can be experienced in their exemplary presentations. Visual appeal invites the pallette to experience the colors, textures and flavors of the artful ensembles. "If it's not perfect, we wouldn't serve it," says a former member of their New York staff, "That's what Greg and Adeline hold firm to, and that's what we follow."
"Our current LA staff of Maison Catering comprises an extensive background in high end restaurants from around the country and abroad. For that reason, our catered food is always held to a higher standard. We use nothing but the freshest seafood, pristine cuts of meat, and flawless California produce to create beautiful presentations with clean, sultry flavors." says Adeline DeMichiel.
When inquired how one would classify their cooking style, Greg DeMichiel quotes, "It's what we best define as 'True California Fusion'. We integrate distinctive, unique flavors from around the world and form a marriage of classics and exotics to balance out the dish and make it unforgettable."

Maison Catering also promotes their environmentally conscious "Green Catering" services. Donating great support to local Los Angeles markets, as well as high acknowledgement to farming and harvesting practices and the use of biodegradable products, Greg and Adeline take great pride in their avid grasp on the importance of such concerns. "Many Clients have been referred to us because of our reputation, but some found us after researching other caterers and hearing thru word of mouth about our Green services. As a result, we were given excellent recommendations and my husband and I are very proud of that," says Adeline.
