    Welcome to the portfolio of our newborn photography specialists. We offer newborn portrait sessions, designed around your baby's schedule. Portraits can be taken in studio or in your home. We are happy to help you choose an environment that will be quiet and comfortable for your new baby.

    Why Newborn Photography?

    The first few days of a baby's life go by very quickly! These precious early days will be over in a short time. This is great because it means that your baby is growing and thriving. However, it can also bittersweet because as experienced parents will tell you, they don't stay new babies for long. We are here to capture the first few moments in your baby's life, when everything is new, and you are adjusting to your expanded family. This is the ideal time to have a creative and experienced photo session, so you can preserve the fleeting newborn stage. In later years, when they fight with siblings or ask to borrow the car, you'll be able to look back and remember how gentle and sweet they were when they started out :)

    Newborn Photography Locations

    We will hold your newborn photo shoot in a location that is comfortable and convenient for you. In many cases, this means in or around your home. We understand that during the first few days, you'll likely want to remain close to home. We will time your newborn photo session around your schedule, to arrive at the ideal time of day for your baby and for you. Once we are onsite, we will photograph your newborn using locations and backdrops from your own house. This could be in the nursery or crib, or making use of your favorite blanket. The overall goal is for you and your newborn to be completely at ease throughout the entire shoot.

    What To Do With Newborn Photos

    Often, we are brought in very early to photograph newborns, such as when you have been home from the hospital for just a few days. The main reason is that many families like to incorporate our photography into birth announcements, whether printed or e-cards. In addition to prints and digital files, we also offer a number of options to turn your newborn photos into keepsakes and lasting mementos. Examples of these include fine art prints, canvas prints, mini albums, and framed images. Following your photo shoot, we will add all of your images to an online proofing gallery. This will make it easy to review your images and to select your favorites.

    What Makes A Newborn Photographer Different?

    Newborn photography is a specialty in itself within photography expertise. Our photographers have had years of specialization, practice, and training specifically around photographing new babies. They have the right creative eye to know how to stage and arrange a newborn session, and the ideal and temperament to photograph brand new infants. It is not every photographer that has this level of patience and care. When you book our studio, you will have a highly trained photographer that has a niche specialization in newborn photography. You will be able to tell the difference.

    Newborn Photography Cost

    We offer many packages to make our photography attainable at different budget levels. One way to save is to invest in a multi-shoot package with our studio. Not only will you have amazing photography as your child grows, but you won't have to find a new photographer each time. You will essentially have a built-in photography studio that is ready when you are to capture your little one. If you love our work and online portfolio, then it will be worthwhile to contact our studio and talk about newborn photography costs and package options.     Photography Portfolio

    We put a wide selection of our newborn photography online, including full galleries. This is so you can get a deeper sense of our photography style and approach, beyond a selection of highlight images. As you view the galleries, you may find images that you want to save and use as inspiration. Please feel welcome to bookmark your favorite galleries or download specific images to your computer. We will be happy to talk through examples you have seen throughout our photography portfolio. We will also make our best recommendations for your own newborn photo session.

    Family Photos

    You are welcome to include the entire family in your newborn photo session - parents, siblings, and even the loyal family pet. We want you to remember this moment in time, so you can think back to exactly how your family was during this stage of life. If you have specific ideas for your shoot, let us know beforehand. This way we can begin planning ahead of time. We can also build off your initial ideas. We will come back with a creative approach that includes our unique flair and style.
